How We Ensure a Secure Opt-In Process

Latest update: July 23, 2024

At Adojo, we value the trust our customers place in us. To ensure clear communication and customer consent, we have implemented a straightforward opt-in process for our SMS updates. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: We only solicit phone numbers from registered subscribers

We solicit phone numbers from individuals immediately after they have registered an account with us and and subscribed to Adojo. This ensures that we are only texting active subscribers who have shown a genuine interest in our movement-based learning app for children.

Step 2: Consent to Receive SMS Updates

After registration, users are presented with the option to opt-in for SMS updates. A clear message outlines what kind of updates you will receive, such as new features, events, and promotions. By entering their phone number, which is optional, customers confirm their consent to receive SMS updates.

Step 3: Confirmation Message

Upon opting in, users receive a confirmation SMS from us, welcoming them and explaining what kind of messages they can expect. This step reinforces transparency and allows users to know they have successfully subscribed.

Opt-Out Mechanism

We respect our customers' preferences. If at any time a customers decides they no longer wish to receive SMS updates from Adojo, they can easily opt out by simply replying with "STOP" to any of our messages which will unsubscribe them from future SMS immediately. They can resubscribe at any point by texting "START". We send a confirmation message to verify that the opt-out process was successful.

Commitment to Communication

We aim to send SMS messages every 1-2 weeks, ensuring that our communications are relevant, timely, and respectful of your preferences. Our customers' feedback and engagement is crucial to us, and we strive to only provide valuable updates.
